Prayer Requests 10-29

Thanks for the awesome discussion tonight! Brian and I both really feel like we are growing so much spiritually as we are all becoming good friends. Here are the prayer requests for the week:

Sara and Bret-Their house will be inspected on Tuesday--pray nothing is seriously wrong; also, pray for Bret's sister in Virginia that she would not feel lonely and would have purpose and direction in her life; pray for Sara's coworker's daughter's baby this week as she prepares to deliver :)

Grant and Misti--Continue to pray for the pregnancy and for Misti (Praise God that the doctor's appointment last week went well and that the baby is doing great!)

Josh and Jennifer--Continue to pray for Josh as the details of his new job offer are finalized this coming week! :)

Brian and Jenny-- Pray for Brian as he continues to work out the details of his business buy-in; please pray for me as I launch a mentoring program for at-risk kids at school

Delaina (special guest :) )--Pray for life balance as she transitions into being the only grow group coordinator--that God would give her peace, direction, and joy!

Country of the week--Somalia
***Pray for spiritual, physical, and political healing and blessings...and protection for the Christian workers and missionaries trying to reach this country for Christ

Last night's discussion was awesome! It is really great getting to know each other as we journey in our faith. Here are the prayer requests for the week:

Josh and Jennifer: Continue to pray for Josh's decision as he meets with a potential employer on Friday

Grant and Misti: Pray for Misti and the baby at the doctor's appointment on Thursday; also, pray for Grant's decisions at work

Ricardo and Nora: Praise God that Ricardo is healthy! Continue to pray for Ricardo's grandmother and her vision

Brian and Jenny: Pray for Brian and his relationships at work

Prayer Requests 10-15

It was great getting to hang out last night. Here are the prayer requests:

Josh and Jennifer-Pray for Josh's decision concerning taking a new job; continue to pray for his brother and family as he recovers and is unable to work; also, continue praying for his uncle

Ricardo and Nora-Praise God that Ricardo's tests have all confirmed that he is healthy; continue to pray for Ricardo's mom; pray for Nora's friend Judith who is not doing well due to osteoporosis

Grant and Misty-Continue praying for a healthy mom and baby

Brian and Jenny-- Brian's grandma is in the ICU so please pray for a speedy recovery as the Lord wills

Also, don't forget that if you want to help with the deliveries to the nursing home you need to contact Delaina Lewis by Wednesday (delainalewis@yahoo.com).

Bring candy to small group on Sunday if you would like to donate for the church's Fall Festival.

October 8th Meeting Cancelled

We're sorry for the late notice, but we are going to have to cancel small group tonight. Jenny's dear friend is in MD Anderson and can finally have visitors. (Unfortunately the visiting hours are during small group!)

We hope everyone had a great week, and we will look forward to seeing everyone on October 15th at our house, 6:30pm. Please let us know if there is anything we can be praying for this week.

Misti and Grant--Health for the mom and baby :)

Bret and Sara--Bret's sister is moving to Virginia-pray for a good transition; continue to pray for their leadership at Realife

Ricardo and Nora--Pray for Ricardo's doctor appointment on Thursday; pray for Ricardo's mom that she would have improved health and lots of energy to care for his niece; pray for Ricardo's grandmother after a recent fall that she would continue to heal and be safe; also, pray for Nora's dad as he travels to Mexico this week

Jenny and Brian--Pray for Jenny's friend who is having a 10 hour surgery on Thursday in her fight against breast cancer
